I most highly recommend Darra Motel and Conference Centre. The service is great and so friendly too. Everything is here so no need to go anywhere for food or drinks. Food is great too and if you don’t want to sit in the restaurant, they will deliver your meal to your room. We’ve stayed at a few motels and this is so far the best. I highly recommend it.
2 week stay for work, right on the motorway so super simple to get anywhere. Place was clean as a whistle, really high quality pillows and blankets, dinners were on point! Proper mix of home cooked meals and pub feed. Great amenities with laundry and pool. Paul the manager is the friendliest bloke around and nothing was too much hassle for him or any of the staff! Even when i locked myself out late at night 😅 great spot! Would recommend! And will be back! 10/10

There are some very good parts, and somewhat dated aspects. Everything fair to good, nothing horrible.
Wheelchair and pram friendly. Comprehensive breakfast menu, prepared by friendly staff.

Last minute booking at this Motel and both my husband and I were very impressed with how clean the room was. The bed was comfortable and the staff were very lovely. The restaurant was faultless and the manager even sat with us for a chat which was so nice and made us feel very welcome. We decided to book a second night rather than explore somewhere else like we intended because it was so nice. Even though it was by the motorway and I see people saying it was noisy we didn’t seem to notice it at all. Will definitely stay again.
Lovely service clean rooms comfortable beds beautiful surroundings wish I could stay longer 😍. Manager greeted me and got me a room as I didn't have a booking. Also made me.feel welcome. Food was lovely. Enjoyed my stay
Had an issue with my key card for the door. I called the after hours number since it was 11pm. Rang once and no one answered, rang again and had a man on the other end screaming at me WHAT DO YOU WANT! I had to check to see if I rang the right number so I asked if this was the after hours number for the Motel. He continued to yell at me saying YES NOW WHAT DO YOU WANT?! I told him he didn't have to be so rude. His reply was "the least you could've said was sorry for waking you up but I need help" .. newsflash, that's your job! If you don't like people calling you in the middle of the night then TAKE YOUR NUMBER OFF! These 5 star reviews are all lies. If customer service isn't your strong point then find another job. Safe to say I won't be spending another cent on this halfway house.
Clean and basic, bed good, shower good, food on site in small licenced restaurant. Well located by the motorway without being bothered by it. Standard Aussie motel, so has tables outside your room for the smokers. Parking bays a bit tight. Discovered it has a pool when checking out.
I have stayed at the Darra several times for work and find them to be amazing. The kitchen staff is always helpful with accommodating. The beds are comfortable and warm. Can’t fault the place
